What we offer

Our practices

A range of practices drawn from Himalayan tradition. Choose one, or weave several together — we'll help you find what fits.

01

Hot Bikram Yoga

90 min · Beginners welcome

The classic 26 + 2 sequence — 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises.

Traditionally practiced at 40°C, we usually run at 30–35°. A fixed sequence taught through a detailed, consistent dialogue. The asanas are not technically difficult and complete beginners with a modest fitness level can join. Holds are 10–90 seconds. Classes are 90 minutes and we use a recorded dialogue.

02

'Super Salutations' Hatha / Vinyasa

50 min · Moderate fitness

Our own mashup of five sun and moon salutation sequences.

Practiced as a dynamic vinyasa with short holds synchronised with the breath. Highly energising — gets the heart rate up and builds flexibility dynamically. Suitable for anyone with a moderate fitness level. David leads the practice.

03

Yin

60 min · All levels

Gentle, slow, largely passive — long holds that target the deep tissues.

Holds of up to three minutes target tendons, fasciae, and ligaments. Helps you slow down and is surprisingly refreshing. Delivers flexibility gains that are difficult to achieve with active holds. Suitable for everyone. David leads the practice.

04

Kundalini

45–60 min · Open mind

Breath, asana, chanting and visualisation integrated into kriyas.

We teach from a Himalayan lineage which is somewhat different to the Kundalini yoga of Yogi Bhajan commonly taught in the west (though there is some overlap). Asanas are Hatha-derived. Suitable for anyone with basic fitness and an open mind. Highly dynamic or more meditative depending on the day.

05

Ecstatic Dance

40–50 min · Everyone

Inspired by Gabriel Roth's five rhythms.

An opportunity to dance the way you want — no fixed steps, no rules. A curated set of music moves through five rhythms: flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness. Not an official 5 Rhythms practice — just a chance to move, breathe and lose yourself. Our studio has a sprung floor, a great sound system and a panoramic view of the plum orchard. Light-touch facilitation keeps it a safe space.

06

Sound Healing — Yoga Nada Chikitsa

60 min · All levels

Traditional Nepalese singing bowls in the Himalayan tradition.

Legend has it that nada (sound) yoga originates 15,000 years ago with the Adi yogi Lord Shiva, whose damaru drum symbolises the cosmic sound of creation. Our sound healing follows the centuries-old Himalayan tradition to help restore balance and harmony to body, mind and spirit. 1:1 or group sessions.

07

Meditation & Yoga Nidra

30–60 min · Everyone

Everyone meditates differently — we help you find the practice that fits.

There is no single path inward. Depending on your temperament and where you are in your practice, we draw on Vipassana (silent observation of breath and sensation), mantra meditation (repetition of sacred sound to settle the mind), or guided Yoga Nidra — a deeply restorative state of conscious relaxation sometimes called yogic sleep. Available as 1:1 coaching sessions or group classes.
